The work is a representation of the act of violence and discrimination, through the mirroring of the consequences; a life in a society where the violence and the discrimination are an integral part of the everyday life. It vividly depicts the dark side of the human nature, which creates the  psycho-physical violence, as well as the consequential darkening of the victim’s self caused by that violence, both self-inflicted or by others. It also conveys the depth of the dark moments that touch upon the atrocity of the pain; facing the worst nightmares and finally accepting the shame. Being marked today is in order to reduce the consequences tomorrow. As humans we are direct participants in the art, as we must be, so that the everyday life could be presented meticulously as a part of the photography. A sad and real world through the photographic lenses.
